Part-Time Worship Leader

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and organized Part-Time Worship Leader to continue building a vibrant, Christ-centered worship culture. This role focuses on leading worship, developing team members, and maintaining smooth operations for all worship services and rehearsals. The Worship Leader will work closely with the Worship & Discipleship Pastor and the Peak City creative team staff to plan and execute impactful, Spirit-led worship experiences each week.
Key Responsibilities
● Scheduling: Coordinate weekly schedules for band members and vocalists.
● Playback & Song Arrangements: Manage playback tracks and song arrangements for services.
● Chartbuilder Assignments: Assign songs and arrangements to team members using Chartbuilder.
● Rehearsal Leadership: Lead weekly rehearsals, preparing the team musically and spiritually.
● Vocal Assignments: Assign vocal parts for services to ensure strong vocal leadership.
● Team Communication: Maintain clear, timely communication with the worship team through weekly updates and messaging.
● Onboarding: Assist in onboarding and integrating new worship team members.
● Song Selection: Curate and select songs weekly in coordination with the Worship & Discipleship Pastor and creative team.
● Service Leadership: Lead worship for Thursday and Sunday services and special events.
● Rehearsal Prep: Prepare all musical materials and resources prior to each rehearsal.
● Grocery Orders: Manage the monthly grocery order for worship and production
volunteers.
● Staff Meetings: Attend weekly staff meetings to stay aligned with church goals and events.
● Creative Meetings: Collaborate in weekly creative team meetings to brainstorm service elements.
● 1:1 Meetings: Meet weekly with supervisor for coaching, feedback, and vision alignment.
Qualifications
● A growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
● Proven experience leading worship vocally and instrumentally (preferably guitar or keys).
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Ability to lead and shepherd worship team volunteers.
● Comfortable working with tools like Playback, Chartbuilder, and Planning Center.
● Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
● A heart for service, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Additional Information
● Weekend and some evening availability required.
● Familiarity with modern worship music (e.g., Elevation Worship, Hillsong, Bethel, etc.) is highly desired.
● This is a part-time role, with approximately 20-25 hours of work per week, requiring some on-site and flexible remote work.
